La Macario is a family-owned hospitality house in Kolkata. What began in 2020 as a single café on Wood Street is today three restaurants, a catering brand and a studio: a European all-day café and bakery, a pure-vegetarian South Indian restaurant, a lively North Indian restaurant — newly launched — an outdoor-catering brand built around chai tapris and live counters, and a studio for private dining, banquets and bespoke gifting.

We don't run a chain. We run a small group of distinct restaurants that share a kitchen philosophy and a sourcing standard.

We grew up in a house where feeding people was simply how we said welcome. Every place we open tries to keep that promise: that whoever walks in is fed, properly and sent home a little fuller than when they came.
